  Sometimes we have to choose between one-sided and double-sided silicone coated fibreglass fabric. One-sided fabric has a layer of silicone rubber, whereas double-sided fabric has two layers. This makes the surface of double-sided fabric smooth, whereas one-sided fabric only has one smooth surface.
By the way, the airtightness of double-sided fabric is better than that of single-sided fabric. However, our customers often choose the single-sided fabric instead of the double-sided product because it is cheaper.
 
How should we choose a silicone coated fibreglass fabric?

  Silicone coated fibreglass fabric has good heat and ageing resistance, and we use it to prevent fires and insulate heat smog. If we are using it under high air pressure, it is better to choose double-sided silicone coated fibreglass fabric.
